Charities:
Elton John AIDS Foundation. This foundation is an international non-profit organization funding prevention education programs and direct patient care services worldwide that Elton John founded and is the chairman of.
Gay Health:
AIDS Committee of Toronto - The AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) is a community-based, charitable organization that provides support, HIV prevention and education services for people living with and at risk for HIV/AIDS. There's also a lot of good info there for guys who don't live in Toronto.
GayHealth - worldwide source of health and wellness information for the lesbian, gay, transgender, and bisexual communities founded and operated by lesbian and gay medical professionals.

• Equal Marriage for Same-Sex Couples: queer gay marriage equality -- (run by North America's 1st gay newlyweds).
• GayWeddings.com: The Complete Guide for Same Sex Partners. Focuses on Vermont but also great resource site for other American and Canadian couples.
• J. McRee (Mac) Elrod: Mac is a friend of mine who is a retired Unitarian minister. If you're looking to be hitched in British Columbia, this is the man to see. The ceremonies take place at his beautiful log home cabin in Metchosin. He's also host, (at the same log cabin) to some great pot luck suppers which are held several times a year for Gay and Bi-sexual men.
