Liven Up Your Walks - Making Walks Fun & Romantic

by Robin Forbes

Going for a walk with your date doesn't have to be a dull trudge or forced march. And if you're short on cash, (or even if you're not), going for a nice romantic walk can be the prelude to even better things...

One of the things that I like to do when I go on a walk with my partner is to bring along a camera and take pictures along the way.

Selecting a destination with a significance or specific purpose is not only helpful but can help make the walk special.

For instance, the destination might have a shared past memory or a memory that you want to share with your date.

The destination could also simply be a special coffee shop, ice cream shop, pub or restaurant.

Perhaps your destination is a special viewpoint of the city you live in where you can stop and reflect and admire the view.

After your photo walk about, you can check out the photos together. You don't have to do that the same day if you're exhausted or have progressed to other things. Save the photos for another day to go over together.

You could also make a digital photo album with the photos that you took on your romantic walk.

Or you could get the best photos printed and create a physical photo album, (remember those?), or a scrapbook. You could then do something extra special by wrapping up the photo album or scrapbook and presenting it to your date or partner as a gift.

Regardless of whether you do all of these ideas or just a few, you now don't have to be resigned to "boring walks".

Wishing you fun and romantic walks!
